A world-class team of pioneers

Charles was Google's first product manager hired outside the USA and has a PhD in Robotics and AI from Oxford University as well as an MBA with distinction from London Business School. He has spent a liftime driving innovation and helped build the first version of Andriod when it was still a secret project. Charles is the company's visionary, but to this day he still spends half his time coding and loves to get stuck in to tasks across the company at all levels.

Charles started Zzish because his son was struggling at school and his amazing teachers just didn't have the time to give his son the personal support he needed. He realised that, through the use of technology, he could turn boring tests into fun classroom quiz games and give teachers the real-time data and tools to effortlessly personalise teaching to every student.

In his spare time Charles can`t help himself and can usually be found coding or building something new. He is particularly passionate about AI models that run locally in the browser reducing cost and improving privacy for users.

After receiving a degree in Architecture from Cambridge, Aled has spent 20 years developing user experiences for web and mobile applications. He is the creative genius behind our product UX.

Aled is never satisfied with the status quo and is the kind of designer that truly understands how to take complex product ideas and turn them into simple and beautiful user interfaces. Whilst a designer at his core, Aled is a competent software engineer and personally implemented much of our new Marvely.ai application.

He was the force behind us moving from standard Node + React to SvelteKit, which combined with our AI agent coding skills means we can build new applications around 5 to 10x faster than ever before.

Criscille joined the team back in 2016 to support with US school sales, but has since taken the lead with all our customer support and content creation. Our teacher community often mention how helpful Criscille is and how quick she is to respond to support requests.

As well as customer support, Criscille has managed the digitisation of all our hundreds of curricula from around the world and the digitisation of approximately 500 released tests from New York State and Texas education departments.
